To make this tasty vegan pulled pork, you just simply toss the shredded mushroom into a baking tray with spices (1 tsp smoked paprika, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, 2 cloves minced garlic) with 1 tbsp olive oil and mix.  Bake it in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F, until all the edges are crispy. Baking the mushrooms gives it a firmer texture that closely resembles a pulled pork. Once cooked, set aside. In a large pan, saute the cooked mushrooms in 1 tbsp olive oil then add in the BBQ sauce. Cook for 3-5 mins until mixture thickens. It’s a perfect healthy palaman for your sandwiches, tacos, nachos, and more!

To make this vegan chicharon, mix all your dry ingredients in a bowl (1 cup cornstarch, 2 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp garlic powder, pepper). Dredge your mushrooms (500 g) in the cornstarch mix then deep fry into a heated pan with vegetable oil until golden brown. Enjoy with your usual vinegar or a caesar salad dip for an added flavor.
